Sony and Microsoft Concede Defeat in Console Wars

In a possibly ironic (Has there ever been a real example of irony?) twist of public relations Sony's Phil Harrison responded to Microsoft's Peter Moore's comment, that people who buy an XBOX 360 will also buy a Wii, by saying that people who buy a PS3 will also buy a Wii, also, as well, too! So, what these corporate numskulls went and admitted together was that the console EVERYONE will definitely buy is the Nintendo Wii!

You gotta love dictionaries. Yes...many things fit this definition of irony. However I think I've found a pretty good example of the irony that we all know. ding ding ding!

Check out this letter I wrote earlier today to the editor of PC World magazine:

"Was is just me or did anyone else notice the giant ad on page 147 of the July 2006 issue of PC World where BitDefender is tooting their own horn of how good their product is refering solely to PC Worlds "Best Buy" label. It's seems to me to be a little ironic that in that very same issue, BitDefender scored an embarssing ninth place of ten in the 'All-in-One Security" article, not to mention without the "Best Buy" honors.
