ATL

Saw ATL with some friends last night. Not what I was expecting. It actually wasn't bad. The characters were well defined and worked well together. Didn't expect the roller-dancing but it seemed rather well portrayed. Okay, spoilers after this so stop reading now if you care about that kind of thing. My only gripes come from the way the movie seemed to be building up to the big roller-dance tournament "Skate Wars" the whole time but in the end the lead character can't go because he has to stop a drug dealer from shooting is little brother. That I wouldn't mind if it had ended up meaning a little more, with maybe someone dying from it, but in the end everyone lives and it's all happy but we get no roller-dance-off.
