I haven't knit over my headphone wires yet, but I don't think it would be dangerous... The knitting goes over the top of the wire casing so there shouldn't be any wire ever touching the yarn. The reason I was thinking of doing it, is cause I spend so much time un-tangling my wires. And they take such a beating the way I abuse them that I thought it might help protect them. :)
Yeah...dangerous....cuz we known how much 'high-power' is running through headphone wires.....so much that it can power a transducer the size of a pencil eraser.....WOW!!
