Tycho Makes More Good Points About Macs

Tycho at Penny Arcade once again summarizes all of the computer world in deft succinctness with his latest news post (not a permanent link). His experiences with Apple's Boot Camp and loading Windows XP on his new iMac were apparently pleasant. He notes that he's recently placed himself in the new and all too familiar position of Mac-lovers, having to defend the platform. He does so now easily by saying, "As a mobile option, I think it's already a compelling choice - but until the full desktop line becomes available, these developments are largely nerd trivia. When Apple starts making machines that you can replace the videocard in, machines that run every OS and every application without the taint of performance sapping emulation, the conversation will become very interesting."
