Forget the Seven Seas, Head on over to the Burning Sea, where Pirates And Navy clash in epic battles. Although this MMO is still in beta, from what I have seen and played, this game rocks. Your characters are highly customizable, and you have the option of being either Pirates or Navy.
Not only that, the visuals are stunning, and the game play is extremely versatile. You can run around town, talk to people, or you can set sail on the high seas to go between islands, and engage in ship battles. The game even features different classes of ships, and different types of shot you can use in your cannons, including chain shot, and grape shot.
